Basic Screenprinting

Spot Color Printing:

This is the most common form of screen printing textiles. This method uses the stock color of the ink without alterations by printing it through the stencil in wide open areas of the screen mesh. This will produce a very vibrant solid "spot" of color.

4 Color CMYK printing:

CMYK method uses only four colors: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. The ink is more transparent than regular plastisol ink so it can be mixed to create an infinite number of colors by printing. The end result creates full-color prints.

Simulated Process Printing:

Similar to the CMYK method simulated process screen printing uses various different colors to create remarkably photorealistic designs but uses regular plastisol ink which is more opaque.

Discharge printing:

Unlike traditional screen printing, which relies on layers of ink to produce designs, discharge screen printing uses a special ink that removes or discharges the original color of the fabric. During this process, ink can be added back to the shirt to produce a soft feel like the design isn’t even there.
